The central message is our need to seek conversion.
The prophet Jonah proclaimed to the people of the Nineveh that they must change their ways and be Converted to the Lord.
The people listened and immediately changed their ways. God did not carry the punishment.
Conversion requires us to change, to do something extra, to move out of our comfort zone, to alter the status quo in our lives, a change of habit from vice to virtue, transform attitude that destroy into those that demonstrate love.
Let us convert from selfish ways to a need for community.
How far are you willing to go to share with others?
Jesus opened His arms on the Cross and gave His life that we might live, and He did it not for Himself but for us.
How far are you willing to go for another? Let us imitate Jesus, share what we are and what we have with all.
