Isaiah in Is.2:1-5 and David in Psalm 122:1-4 invites us to the great Place.
It is the House of the Lord:”Let us go rejoicing to the house of the Lord.”
Today God Himself by His Word invites us to come to His House around the world.
This House is the Church with a big C, which is the community of believers around the world.
And also He invites us to His local House which is a local church with a little c, the building,
to which the Lord comes in the form of bread and wine with the essence of His Body and Blood inside.
The House of the Lord is the Great Place for those who trust in God.
And those believers create great family of God.
The House of the Lord is a great Place to grow in Love and Faith.
And Matthew in Matt.8:5-11 share with us the story of a Great Faith.
The story in which Jesus Himself said to the unbeliever that He, Jesus,
did not find that kind of Faith even among believers:
”Amen, I say to you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith.”
Let us run to the House of the Lord, our local church,
to grow our own faith to that great Faith of that unbeliever so that Jesus will say about us
“Amen, I say to you, in no one in the Church have I found such Faith!”
I, Boris, go to the church in Malibu everyday and we repeat
during the Mass the words that this unbeliever said to Jesus
“Lord, I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof;
only say the word and my servant(my soul) will be healed.”
This way God wants us to show that if you will not give up and grow to that kind of Faith,
you will be the friend of Jesus and remembered by many generations
because God will glorify your name through centuries.
Let us answer with loving response to the invitation of our Lord and Savior.
Let us go and enjoy the time with the Lord and His people in His House with Great Faith.
