Why do we must study Bible
Daily?
We show God how much we love Him by studying His Word to us, The Bible.
Jesus says: “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”John 14:15
And Psalm 1:2 says that a Blessed man is he who study the Bible
DAILY,
”the law of the LORD is his joy; and on his law he meditates day and night.”
This is the will of God and His Commandment that we study the Bible
DAILY.
If we do not study the Bible God’s blessing is not on us and that is why we get sick;
we have problems, conflicts; we have crisis in our relationships and many other stresses.
But if we read, study, think and apply the Law of God which is
His will
in our DAILY life,
we will live the life of joy, peace and love as God wants us to live.
In John 14:21 Jesus repeats:
”Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me.
The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.”
It is all about love. We show Jesus that we love Him by studying the Bible.
We will know His Commandments, His Law and we will live according to
His will
for His will is
described in His Law.
And there is a promise if we do that. Notice that Jesus says:
”My Father will love you and I will reveal Myself to you!”
Then John in his letter 2 John 1:6 says:
”And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments.
This is the very commandment you have heard from the beginning, that you must walk in love.”
It means that if we study the Bible and practice what It teaches us we will show our love to Jesus.
This is the Commandment from the beginning for us that we apply the Law of God because it is love to do so.
But to show our love to the one we love, we first should give effort to learn what that one wants us to do.
In the Bible God explained in details what behavior, thought, attitude, word
He expects from the one who loves Him.
In another letter John, 1 John 2:3, explains that there is
only one way to know Jesus:
”By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments.”
You see, we will know Jesus only if we observe His Commandments
DAILY.
How can we practice His Commandments if we do not know, understand them?
That is one of the reasons we should read, study the Bible
DAILY.
Jesus Himself gives us an example to follow in John 15:10, He says:
”If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love,
just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.”
Here Jesus explained us that it is fair that we
obey His Commandments
as He obeyed the Commandments of His Father.
I study the Bible,I obey and apply the Law of God
for seven years day after day and
I testify that Jesus have shown me His Love, Favor, Blessings and Himself because
I keep His Commandments.
Let us learn and do the will of God, for our own good, which is expressed in the Bible.
And this is the place to start.
Let us read, study and practice what is written in the Bible daily, no exception, no day off.
If we do this, I believe and declare from my experience
that Jesus will bless us with many blessings
to live life of joy, peace and love from now on into eternity.
