To be comfortless is a state of mind and spirit.
It is a result of misery experienced and recognized as a condition.
Therefore there can be no comfort in a denial of the comfortless condition.
There can be no comfort until things are changed.
For the essence of comfort is that the mind and spirit are no longer troubled.
When they are in a state of security, order and fulfillment.
The Holy Spirit can help us with this.
The genuine Comforter may either establish a new state;
Or harmonize the old state with existing circumstances that the misery vanishes…
Both depend entirely on the action of the Spirit in us.
We have only to keep on believing and praying.
Let us not give up on hope in God’s goodness.
